Shreya has over 6 years of cross-sector experience. She started her career at UBS Investment Bank, where she led several capital raising and M&A transactions of >$1bn across India and the US. To learn about businesses beyond financial statements, she started her education-focused startup called C3 Collaborate to Create Change, where she helped turn the administration of Delhi government schools paperless. She also worked to improve learning outcomes across primary government schools of Gujarat during her time at the Central Square Foundation. One of her key projects was launching a monitoring app for classrooms across 33,000 schools.
In her most recent role as the Chief of Staff at &Me, she helped shape the women’s health space in India. She was pivotal to creating thought leadership about the topic and setting up the pan-India operations of the brand, growing the business by 25,000% within the first 6 months of launch. Inspired by her 13-year-old niece who wants to start her bakery business, Shreya started a podcast called Women who Build, where she talks to women founders around the world with the aim to inspire action amongst younger women.
Shreya is a professional Bharatnatyam dancer and learned her lessons in leadership and vulnerability through her dance. She has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Narsee Monjee, Bombay and has pursued CFA.
